"Don't think of the limitations; think of the possibilities."

Who am I

First of all, I am 100% bilingual, donc vous pouvez me parler en français or in English without any problem! I have a BAC in video game development from UQAT and I have a DEC in multimedia integration from Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. I also completed 2 years of study at UQAM in Interactive Media, but I decided to pursue my passion for video game development at UQAT. I’m interested in meeting new people, learning new working methods, and I am always looking to learn more and improve myself to join a work environment where I could flourish. I’m also a fan of easter eggs, by the way, there might be one hidden here somewhere… But don’t worry, I take my work seriously!

My ambitions

If you were going to ask me where I see myself in 10 years during the interview, I’ve got you covered! I have always been the kind of person who commits to a business for the long haul, seeking to establish lasting relationships and contribute my skills to the company’s growth indefinitely. My dedication extends beyond just fulfilling a role; I aspire to evolve into a team leader within the organization, leading and inspiring others to excel. Ultimately, I envision sharing my knowledge and experience by becoming a mentor, helping trainees develop their skills and paving the way for the next generation of professionals in the industry.

Skills and interests

Game Engines

I first learned programming by doing Flash games. I love scripting, learning languages and discovering new tricks to do projects. I am patient, good under pressure and organized, which allows me to do my job smoothly. Thanks to my curious mindset, I learned to use C# in Unity and use Blueprint in Unreal Engine. I quickly assimilate new skills and I am always looking for new challenges!

Game design

I possess a strong foundation in video game design, continually seeking opportunities to enhance my creative abilities. My passion for the field drives me to expand my skills, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of innovation. I’ve successfully created engaging gameplay mechanics and optimized game performance through coding, demonstrating my versatility in this multifaceted profession.

Teamwork

I love meeting new people. I’m very comfortable working as a team, I express myself well and I am open to other people’s ideas. However, I can also work autonomously depending on the projects. I am at ease with multiple media in the field, wich enables me to work well with other departments. I can’t wait to chat with you!

Web development

Besides programming, I have developed other skills in the field and I’m doing very well with HTML, CSS, Javascript and other web-related languages. In fact, my portfolio, which you are currently browsing, was completely developed by none other than myself.

Other Skills

I acquired several skills other than programming during my career. I am particularly skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Figma. I’m also comfortable with the other departments in the media world.
